With rolling pastures and woodlands, the park boasts 6 miles of bridle trails (all natural-surface trails), beautiful vistas of the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and access to the Appalachian Trail. Activities include hiking, primitive camping, picnicking, fishing, and horseback riding.
Parking/Admission: $3 per vehicle (weekdays);
$4 per vehicle (weekends & holidays); $3 per horse trailer

The park consists of 1,862-acres and is located less than 2 miles south of Paris, VA, via US Route 50 to Route 17 South; or 7 miles north of I-66, via Exit 23 on Route 17 North. The entrance to the park is located on State Route 710.
