Located in Marshall, Virginia, the Fauquier Heritage and Preservation Foundation, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, was established in 1993 to encourage the citizens of Fauquier County to become more familiar with the rich heritage of the area. Over time it has expanded that encouragement to include anyone who may be interested in Fauquier County worldwide.

FHPF collects archival material related to the County’s Colonial past and recent history, and provides a resource for both the study of County history and for genealogical studies.
